Born Clifford Joseph Price in Walsall, 1965, ‘Goldie’ earned his name as a Graffiti artist in the West Midlands during the early 1980s.

Though well known as a musician and actor, Goldie originally found his calling as a Street artist and was a respected figure in and around the Midlands at the inception of the Graffiti movement. His work features heavily in Afrikaa Bambaataa’s seminal feature film Bombing and also in Spraycan Art by Henry Chalfant and James Prigoff, widely regarded as the most authoritative publication on the roots of street art.

Further to being one of the UK’s most influential original Graffiti writers Goldie has had international success as a Drum and Bass DJ, producer and actor. He has amassed over 2.5 million record sales and his film credits include the James Bond film The World is Not Enough and Guy Ritchie’s Snatch.

Goldie’s versatility as a visual artist has come to the fore and recent work has included sculpture, album artwork and forays into furniture and fashion design.

The artist exhibits internationally with gallery shows from Tokyo to Berlin and he boasts an exclusive clientele of distinguished celebrity collectors.

Goldie lives and works in Hertfordshire.
